Best Zip Lining Locations In Kenya
Kereita is located in Kimende town. It’s just one hour from Nairobi city centre. The Forest has the longest zip line in East Africa and Kenya offering over 2.2km of flight across the lush Kereita forest. This includes 6 zip lines with the longest being 430M. This is arguably the best location to go for the ultimate zip-lining experience. It is also a perfect location to enjoy other activities such as mountain biking, archery, paintball, camping, nature walks, and team building.
Entry Fee to Kereita Forest is Kshs 200 for adults and or Kshs 50 for students and under 18 years person. The Zip lining charges are Kshs 1,800 for 2 lines and Kshs 2,800 for the 6 lines. All payments are made via Paybill or M-PESA.

2. Kompass, Ngong Hills
Kompass is located inside Ngong Hills. It’s just an hour away from Nairobi through Ngong town. Though not long as the Kereita one, their zip line is about 250 meters long over the expansive Ngong forest. Beside Zip lining, they have other activities such as paintball, archery, bike riding, picnics, hiking and photography. There is also a restaurant and a bar.
There is an entrance fee of Kshs 232 per adult and Kshs 58 per child to access Ngong Hills. They are two options; you can do one Zipline which costs Kshs 700 or two lines for Kshs 1,000.

3. Paradise Lost, Kiambu
Paradise Lost is located in Kiambu Town. It’s just 20 minutes from Nairobi city centre. Paradise Lost Resort is a magnificent tourist attraction in Kenya, an oasis in the middle of a coffee farm. Here you will enjoy zip lining across the man-made dam on their two zip lines which are about 650 metres long.
At Paradise Lost you can also enjoy; Exploring the stone age caves, a stunning waterfall, picnics, fishing, boat riding, a visit to a coffee farm, horse riding, camel riding, nature trails and bird watching. 4. Machakos People’s Park
Machakos People’s Park is another ziplining location in Kenya. It’s just one hour from Nairobi. The zip-lining cables are suspended 30 feet above the ground, giving a perfect aerial view of Machakos People’s Park and its environs. The park is also a perfect location for an array of activities such as picnics, biking, boat riding, archery, photography, and horse and camel riding.
Entrance to the park is free. You can choose between the 200m long zip line and its 300m long counterpart, but the latter is where the fun can be most experienced. They charge Kshs 500 per person.

5. Rapids Camp, Sagana
Sagana is famous for the Tana River. The Rapid Camp, Sagana is the ultimate centre for adrenaline junkies. From bungee jumping, white water rafting, kayaking, plunging, abseiling, rock climbing and nature walks. It’s about 1.5 hours from Nairobi. Rapids Camp has one of the most amazing Ziplines in Kenya cutting across the Rapids Falls. The Zipline is 250 m long and has 110 m on top of the river which make it unique in Kenya.
The zip lining is Kshs 3,000 per person which I consider is too expensive for the length of the zip line. The better option is to choose a package that covers zip lining, kayaking or gliding, the bridge plunge, and a shorter white water rafting for Kshs 5600 which is also inclusive of lunch.

6. Bofa Beach Resort, Kilifi
Bofa Beach Resort is in Kilifi Kenya, one hour drive north of Mombasa. Nestled in the quiet holiday zone of Bofa Beach – Kilifi, on the second row. Bofa Beach Resort is a dreamy getaway to the magical Kenyan coast.

Camp Dunda Falls is located in Embu county off the Embu-Meru highway, about two and a half hours drive from Nairobi. The entrance fee is Kshs 350 and it covers activities such as canopy walks, nature walks, hiking, picnic, bush trekking, and bird watching among others. Zip lining, mountain biking, archery, camping, and sharing meals are provided on order and should be booked for.
