Nifty Cafe and Wine Bar is located at Rubis petrol station, off Banana Raini Road, Tigoni. It is situated in the tea countryside, offering picturesque views of the forested Tigoni, making it an ideal place to unwind after a busy week in Nairobi. The cafe is perfect for a date or a solo outing and has established itself as a popular meeting spot for bikers since its opening two years ago. It also makes a nice place to work for digital nomads.
A big sign by the road makes it quite easy to locate. As soon as you enter the café, you become completely enchanted by its charming decor and breathtaking view. The experience is so captivating that you might even forget to snap photos of your meals and drinks. The cosy nooks, charming outdoor seating, and wonderful garden are the things that you might end up liking the most.
When you visit, make sure to dress warmly because the scorching sun can be deceiving. Temperatures tend to drop towards the evening, but the friendly staff are considerate enough to light firewood heaters for each occupied table. They also provide Maasai shukas to help keep you warm and comfortable.
As a TIP: Make sure you reserve the outer terrace and visit the place on a Sunday afternoon since they have a live music band on Sundays, elevating the experience to a whole new level.
