In this article, we will look at the Entrance Fees for the Kenyatta International Convention Centre’s Rooftop. The 28-story building is located along Harambee Avenue in the city centre of Nairobi. The KICC rooftop is one of the coolest tourist spots to visit, along with the famous Giraffe Centre.
Kenyatta International Convention Centre was constructed between 1966 and 1973 by the Government of Kenya as the premier conference facility in East and Centre Africa. This panoramic view has become a favourite among photographers and filmmakers who frequently use this location for shooting documentaries. The KICC was the tallest building in Kenya at the time of its construction. Even though it currently ranks among the top 10, this position isn’t likely to last for very long because new buildings are constantly being built. The tall, cylinder-shaped building is still regarded as one of Africa’s top conference venues. More than 4,000 people can fit in its largest ballroom.
The KICC rooftop which also doubles as a helipad provides a 360-degree picturesque panoramic view of the city centre and its horizons. Take the elevator to the KICC rooftop, unless you feel up for the challenge of climbing stairs. You will ascend the elevator to the 26th floor before using the stairs to reach the 28th floor. This is the top floor. The helipad is at the very top, where you will then ascend a short flight of stairs.

Best Time To Visit KICC Rooftop
We recommend you go during the morning hours, say, before noon, as the crowds start to increase after that. Since there isn’t much space on the rooftop to spread out and take in the beauty of the city, go early in the day. Additionally, the KICC grounds are frequently rented out for various events. It might become very crowded. On a clear sunny day, you can see as far as Ngong Hills.
KICC Rooftop Opening and Closing Time
You will not need to make a reservation just show up during their open hours. KICC rooftop open hours are between 9 am and 8 pm on weekdays and 9 am and 6 pm on weekends including Sundays.
