It is currently Africa’s giant Ferris wheel, standing 60 meters high above the ground and 55 meters in diameter. It has 40 cabins/ capsules and can hold up to 6 passengers at one go. Each cabin offers a panoramic view of Nairobi city. A single ticket costs Kshs 500 and rotates twice every 14 minutes. The slow wheel rotation is done on purpose to allow passengers to enjoy the scenery and to allow people to board and disembark without the wheel stops. There are no stops and starts, as there are on most Ferris wheels, just a continuous loop around to take in the spectacular views.
