1. Ferris Wheel Ride

It is Kenya’s first and only Ferris wheel, located at Two Rivers Mall dubbed the ‘Eye of Kenya’. It is currently Africa’s giant Ferris wheel, standing 60 meters high above the ground and 55 meters in diameter. It has 40 cabins/ capsules and can hold up to 6 passengers at one go. Each cabin offers a panoramic view of Nairobi city. A single ticket costs Kshs 500 and rotates twice every 14 minutes. The slow wheel rotation is done on purpose to allow passengers to enjoy the scenery and to allow people to board and disembark without the wheel stops. There are no stops and starts, as there are on most Ferris wheels, just a continuous loop around to take in the spectacular views.

A cabin can be rented for a special occasion such as an engagement, wine tasting, birthday, chocolate tasting, and so on. A ride in the ‘eye of Kenya’ is available between 11 am and 9 pm.

2. Flume Ride

This is a 7-meter-high log ride with two drops into water channels, and it is suitable for both children and adults of all ages. Passengers sit in logs that are propelled down the flume by the water flow. A flume ride costs Ksh 500 per person per ride.

3. Drop Tower

The Drop Tower at Two Rivers Mall is a 12-seat, 17-meter-high drop ride with multiple programming options for a different ride each time. Riders initially experience free fall, followed by rapid and drastic deceleration. It is most appropriate for older children and adults. Once at the top, you’ll have time to take in the aerial view of the mall, and if it’s late in the day, you might even catch a glimpse of an enchanting sunset. Charges, Ksh 500 per person per ride.

8. Mad Max Karting

Mad Max Karting is located in the biggest mall in East and Central Africa, Two Rivers Mall on Limuru Road. The 400-meter racing track is the first one in Africa to be situated in a shopping mall. It’s open to both adults and children.

They charge Kshs 2,500 and Kshs 4,000 on Weekdays for 10 minutes and 20 minutes respectively whereas on Weekends it will cost you Kshs 3,000 and Kshs 5,000 for 10 minutes and 20 minutes respectively.
