Ololo Organic Farm Tour

Your adventure begins at the main gate of Nairobi National Park, where you will be welcomed for a three-hour game drive. As you explore the park, get ready to be captivated by stunning scenery, diverse birdlife, and the excitement of spotting your favourite animals in their natural surroundings.

After your game drive, you will head to the Ololo Safari Lodge, located on the southern border of the park. You will cross the Ololo suspension bridge over the Mbagathi River and enter the hidden oasis of Ololo.

At Ololo Safari Lodge, you’ll enjoy a leisurely three-course lunch with a stunning view of the national park. You can relax by cooling off in the pool or enjoying a cocktail from the Ololo bar. After lunch, the day doesn’t end there, as you can further explore the farm and discover where most of the food is grown.

Ololo Farm offers a fantastic organic ‘farm to folk’ experience for the whole family. The farm features both crops and livestock, providing plenty of opportunities to learn about organic farming. Kids and adults will enjoy exploring the greenhouse, where they can identify various herbs, vegetables, and seasonal fruits. A visit to the farm’s organic manure pit is also included—it’s quite interesting.

Next, you’ll visit the duck ponds, the cow paddock, and the free-range chickens. You’ll love watching the adorable golden-brown chicks scurrying around in the brooder. The farm even produces its organic feed using insects. Prior booking is highly recommended. A day visit includes a 2-course lunch (excluding drinks from the bar), a guided walk on the farm, and use of the pool.
