The Hub Karen Mall is a premier shopping mall located in the beautiful leafy suburbs of Karen Nairobi catering to unique experiences. The Hub Karen has an outdoor aerial adventure destination. ‘JUMP @ The Hub’ caters to thrill-seekers of all ages – including families. The “Adrenaline Hub” includes high-speed racing zip lines, freefall jumping into a giant airbag, and a giant swing that flings three people at a time through a 10m arc. Adults with a sense of adventure (while being over 1.4m tall and under 120kg) can enjoy these activities and more.
For younger children, there is a 40m kids zipline to enjoy. Parents will be able to watch their children take part in the activities, join in themselves, or explore other new additions to The Hub Karen. These include a new food hall serving Japanese and Chinese food among other cuisines, along with a dessert station.

1. Funscapes Amusement Park
Funscapes is a gaming arcade at the Hub in Karen that offers a variety of activities for the entire family. It has a large jungle gym, a mini-golf course, and a variety of game consoles to choose from. The centrepiece is the octopus carousel ride, which always has kids screaming as it goes round and round. Video games and other interactive sports are available to help your child develop important social skills. There is a snack bar, so your child will be well-fed. 2. Racing Ziplines
These are Fly high side-by-side twin 140m & 180m zip lines. Start on a small training wire before launching on the first 140m twin zipline (two zips side-by-side) from The Hub’s Lakeside Food Court, flying over both lakes and landing at the base of the “Jump Tower”, before returning on the second 180m twin zipline which launches from the top of the Jump Tower and lands you back at the Food Court and the Jump by Flying Fox Office.

3. AirBag Jump
This is a Free fall jump into an airbag from up to 10m from the ground. Jump from 5, 7.5 and 10m meters into a custom-made and imported airbag. In this session, you will be accompanied by an instructor who will give you a demonstration, and plenty of encouragement. There’s no strict time frame for this activity but allow for approximately 30 minutes. You’ll be required to demonstrate the good jumping technique on the 1st and 2nd levels before heading up to jump from the top platform. Participants are required to be above 1.4m and below 120kg to jump from the top platform.

4. Giant Swing
In this activity, 3 participants are attached to a swing, hoisted up to 8m by an electric winch and then the participants pull a quick-release rip chord to plummet back down to earth. This activity is suitable for anyone above 1.4m and below 120kg.

5. Leap of Faith
In this activity, Leap from the 14m high platform whilst attached to a TruBlue auto belay device and try to hit the punchbag positioned 3-4m away from the platform. This activity is suitable for 4 years and above within the weight limit of 10-150kg.

6. Climbing Wall
Here you will face a 13m artificial rock climbing wall with easy, medium and hard routes. During a climbing session, you’ll be given guidance from an instructor who will also belay you (hold the safety rope) on both sides of the wall. A session typically lasts 30 minutes depending on the group size which is a maximum of 12. The Jump by Flying Fox climbing wall is suitable for ages 5 to 85 and up to 120kg.

7. Abseiling
Also known as rappelling, involves lower yourself down our 13m climbing wall. Lower yourself like a Commando (whilst we hold a backup safety line) down our 13m climbing wall. You may have already climbed the wall, but it looks a hold lot higher from the top. This activity is suitable for those 1.4m or above and under 120kg.
