Amboseli National Park Entry Fees 2024

In this article, we will focus on Amboseli National Park entry fees. Amboseli National Park, formerly Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve, is a national park in Kajiado South Constituency in Kajiado County, Kenya. The park is known for its large elephant herds carrying massive tusks and views of the immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania.

The park is well-known for being the best place in the world to get up close and personal with free-roaming elephants, as well as its location at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, just an hour’s flight from Nairobi. Apart from elephants, many plains animals are easily visible. There are fantastic photo opportunities, and early mornings are best for clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community, which lives around the park and experience their authentic culture.
